Jala Pictures is a London-based film finance company. We provide bridge loans to independent productions secured against tax credits, pre-sales and distribution agreements. Our goal is to be a fast, reliable partner for producers who need capital to get their film made.

Collateralised Lending Across All Major Incentives

We provide private debt secured against film receivables — discounting government-backed tax incentives, distributor minimum guarantees, pre-sales contracts, and institutional grants. The investor lends to a production company by discounting these receivables for a period of 6 to 18 months, with repayment collected directly upon film delivery.

Every facility is fully collateralised and self-liquidating. We structure each transaction individually — there is no pooled risk. Our team has direct, hands-on experience of the full production cycle, from greenlight through delivery, which gives us a practical understanding of timing, risk and the realities of getting a film finished and delivered on time.

We cover incentives across the UK, France, Belgium, Ireland and the United States, and have established relationships with completion guarantors, collection agents and legal advisors across all major film markets.
